Our team heard a consistent message from the scientific community, First Nations and marine conservation organizations. That message was that open-net salmon farms are killing many of the wild salmon runs of British Columbia and are creating biological and social degradation that could last for decades. Open-net salmon farming is one of the most harmful aquaculture production systems in the world and, as consumers, we can use our purchasing power and make a difference!
