World Bank Announcement

Listening to a presentation from Robert Zoellick from the World Bank announcing a $300M fund and $1.2B over 5 years to support ocean sustainability.
  • Over ten years rebuild 50% of the world food stock
  • Increase benefits to global fisheries of 20%
  • Double the area covered by Marine Protected Areas
  • Small and large eco systems to be targeted to help impliment 
  • Increase sustainable fisheries, secure a reliable source of food
